A message from the Hotspots team

The Hotspots team would like to welcome you to the first edition of Hotspots News Online!

Hotspots News Online is an online newsletter designed for landholders, land managers and agency staff who have an interest in sustainable fire management across NSW. As a quarterly newsletter, our aim is to keep you up-to-date with all of Hotspots activities including recent workshops, upcoming events as well as materials and publications that may be of interest to you.

We are very pleased to start this newsletter at a new and exciting phase of Hotspots - the launch of a new website, the expansion of the Hotspots delivery team and delivery locations and the recognition of our work as the National winner of the recent Community Safety Awards.

Working madly behind the scenes we are looking to kick off workshop activity within six Catchment Management Authority (CMA) areas including the Northern Rivers, Namoi, Hunter-Central Rivers, Central West, Hawkesbury-Nepean and the Southern Rivers -  whilst also setting up in our seventh region (the Lachlan CMA). For details on delivery areas jump onto our easy to navigate and interactive workshop location map.

The Hotspots team wants to hear from you… please forward your feedback, and be part of our regular “have your say” article.

We hope that you enjoy the first edition of Hotspots News Online.
